Green open access

In addition to open access to articles on the journal website (gold open access), authors may deposit copies of their works in open repositories, on personal and institutional websites, and on scholarly social networks. This practice promotes wider dissemination of research results and is consistent with the journal's open access policy.

All journal content is distributed under the CC BY 4.0 license. When self-archiving, authors must state the license terms and retain attribution information.

Permitted versions

Preprint — the manuscript version submitted to the editorial office before peer review. Authors may deposit a preprint in open access before, during, and after journal review. When the article is published, we recommend updating the preprint record with a link to the published version and its DOI.

Postprint (author's accepted manuscript) — the version after peer review but before publisher typesetting and formatting. Authors may deposit the postprint without time restrictions (no embargo).

Published version (Version of Record) — the final article version published in the journal with an assigned DOI. Authors may deposit the published version (PDF or HTML) in open access immediately after issue release — with no embargo.

Permitted deposit locations

Authors may deposit copies of their articles on personal and institutional websites, in open scholarly repositories (including eLIBRARY.RU, CyberLeninka, arXiv, and similar platforms), on scholarly social network profiles (ResearchGate, Academia.edu, etc.), and in institutional databases. Deposit on commercial aggregators that violate license terms is not permitted.

Mandatory conditions

When depositing any version of an article, authors must provide a full bibliographic reference to the published version in the journal, including journal title, year, volume, issue number, pages (if applicable), and DOI. Recommended citation format: "Published in: Moscow Journal of Economic Sciences, [year], Vol. [volume], No. [issue]. DOI: [link]".

Authors must state that the work is published under the CC BY 4.0 license and provide a link to the license text: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/.

Embargo periods

The journal does not impose an embargo period on self-archiving. Authors may deposit preprints, postprints, and the published version in open access immediately, without any delay after issue release or acceptance for publication.
